July 20, 2006: I just updated the
Lunar News Page as well as
the
Lunar Meteorite
Listings with some new, or more recently published lunar meteorites:
Dhofar 1428, Dhofar 1180, and Sayh al Uhaymir 300. I also added a couple
of photos
of new NCC collection samples that I just acquired at the Ensisheim and St.
Marie aux Mines Shows, Alsace, France.
July 05, 2006: In the
About section, the
Publications
page has been updated with links to new articles (such as my
Ensisheim Meteorite Show 2006 report for IMCA Insights, and
Meteorite-Times).
June 15, 2006: I corrected several errors, and fixed a few bugs that
were reported by the first visitors of the site. Overall, responses have
been more than positive, a great motivation to keep on working. Thanks!
May 15, 2006: The first beta-version of Meteoris goes online. I
just added the Site News & Basics page, and activated parts of the main
navigation. A hyperlink will be forwarded to selected friends, and
meteoriticists for
review.
April 15, 2006: I just added the
Lunar Meteorite News, and the
Martian Meteorite News pages. As a
feature, I created blue Quicklinx navigational boxes that will lead the user
directly to the respective websites of ongoing space missions, such as ESA's Mars
Express homepage, or NASA's Mars Rover newspage.
The news pages will focus on new finds, as well as on new information on
older finds. Links to the
respective pages of the
Meteoritical Bulletin Database, and links to
other scientific publications
will also be provided as a quick reference. Pictures of planetary main masses will
be provided, and new NCC Collection samples will be displayed in the "New NCC
Feature Sample" box, with respective links to a high-resolution photos.
I hope you enjoy the updates. >>
