October 10, 2008: I have been re-elected President of the
International Meteorite Collectors Association, Inc., for another one
year term - have a look at
the
IMCA Homepage, and the October issue of
IMCA Insights.
September 26, 2008: I added a few pages to the new Charts Section of
my website, featuring the
World's Largest Meteorites with Charts for irons, stony-irons and
stones, the most
Prominent Meteorite Showers & Strewnfields, as well as the
Oldest Meteorite Finds, including some
Fossil Meteorite Charts. Have a look!
July 26, 2008: I
updated the
Martian Meteorite News, and the
Lunar
Meteorite News, a few days ago. I also added quite a few new entries
to the
Lunar Meteorite and
Martian Meteorite listings, as well as some photos of several new NCC samples
which I acquired at the Ensisheim and St. Marie shows in June.
June 30, 2008: I updated the
About
section and added quite a few links to some of my more recent articles,
most of which have been published online in IMCA Insights and
Meteorite-Times,
to the
Publications
page. I also revised and updated a few of the
Classification pages. Have a look!
May 21, 2008: A new article about
3D Chondrules has just been published in the May 2008 issue of
Meteorite Magazine, authored by Dr. Jürgen Otto and myself. High
time to order your own copy!
March 15, 2008: At the recent 39th Lunar & Planetary Science
Conference in League City, Texas, an abstract about the
Unique Ultramafic Shergottite NWA 4797 will be presented. I'm proud
to announce it because I had the pleasure to co-author that paper with
Drs. Anthony Irving, Ted Bunch, Scott Kuehner, and Randy Korotev - a
