Classification of Meteorites 4

Below you will find an up-to-date meteorite classification index. It is a 2D diagram showing the different classes, clans, and groups of meteorites, and their relations to each other. Please, keep in mind that this diagram reflects my personal take, and that other people might group the one or the other meteorite class differently. Some more complex relations also don't show - it would take a 3D diagram to get more close to reality. Click on the respective hyperlinks to learn more about each class, or use the special Quicklinx navigation boxes to the right.
